Strategy notes: read these before the passage

Read the question stems first, then read the passage once without stopping. Short passages usually hide the answer in a single sentence.
For notices and emails, locate the request verb (〜いただけないでしょうか, 〜ください) and the condition words (なお, ただし, その場合): they carry the tested details.
Eliminate options that mention something the passage never says. N2 distractors often sound plausible but have no textual support.

図書館（としょかん）からのお知らせ

来週の月曜日から水曜日まで、図書館は休みです。エレベーターの工事（こうじ）をします。

本を返（かえ）す人は、入口（いりぐち）の右にある返却（へんきゃく）ボックスに入れてください。ボックスは休みの日も使えます。

木曜日から、図書館はいつもの時間に開きます。朝九時から夜八時までです。

新しい本がたくさん入りました。日本語の勉強の本や、旅行（りょこう）の本もあります。ぜひ見に来てください。
