夜明け

夜明けまであと少しだ。

よあけまであとすこしだ。

It won't be long until dawn.

私は、突然夜明け前に起こされた。

わたしは、とつぜんよあけまえにおこされた。

I was woken up suddenly before dawn.

夜明けとともに鳥が鳴き始めた。

よあけとともにとりがなきはじめた。

The birds began to sing as day broke.

私たちは夜明けを待って山を下りた。

わたしたちはよあけをまってやまをおりた。

We waited for dawn and then came down the mountain.
